Avec un coefficient de 50, nous avons mesuré 2,5m à marée basse, ce qui par fort coefficient laisse à peu près 1m de profondeur à marée basse. Une fois la passe franchie, la zone de mouillage est suffisamment grande pour y jeter l'ancre au milieu. Les fonds sont plutôt uniformes, composés de vase et de quelques algues. Traversée de la faille Vue depuis le premier mouillage de l'entrée, avec son récif à gauche. A marée haute, s'introduire dans la faille par le nord, en restant bien au milieu. Il y a un rocher à éviter à l'Ouest en entrant. Une première zone large et peu profonde est immédiatement suivie du mouillage profond situé au centre de la passe. Il faut éviter l'avancée rocheuse à l'Ouest, à proximité de laquelle la zone reste cependant relativement profonde. Vue de la dernière passe depuis le mouillage sud. La deuxième passe donne accès au mouillage sud. Il faudra serrer légèrement à l'Ouest pour éviter quelques récifs profonds situés à l'Est en entrant. Puis, laisser une distance d'environ 5m avec le promontoire rocheux, juste avant l'accès au havre. La zone la plus profonde est située au sud du centre du havre. Mouiller dans le havre Une fois arrivé dans le mouillage sud, il y a un peu de place pour mettre l'ancre. Par vent faible, mouiller au centre devrait suffire. Les bords sont suffisamment abrupts pour laisser de la place à l'évitage. Cependant, quand nous y sommes allés, nous avons mouillé une ancre au sud et frappé deux amarres à la côte pour immobiliser notre bateau. L'idée était de se protéger un coup de vent d'Est… que nous n'avons pas senti. Un joli spot pour se balader et se reposer Une fois sur place, on peut randonner sur les îles qui offrent une belle vue sur la faille et les environs de Skye et KyleAkin. La zone étant dépourvue de chemins balisés et constituée d'herbes hautes et de bruyère, il faudra s'équiper de chaussures de marches montantes. La faille depuis la passe sud à marée basse.
